☆ Very competitive, usually seems to be serious / like he doesn't care about the rest. Very social, you can't find him alone unless he's sleeping somewhere in the school (he's fine with both people and alone).

☆ Can be very hardworking, but just if it's worth it...that means the he usually is not a hard-worker.

☆ Short tempered and easy to pick a fight with, causing him to be totally annoying, sarcastic and even aggressive. Can be very jealous at times. Tries to control his bad temper.

Kaoru wants to win in everything no matter what is it (sports, games or even staring contests with cats). Big soccer fan, when he was in secondary school he was in the soccer team, but he likes almost every sport.
His family owns a hospital, and his father is a doctor. He has an elder brother, who's studying medicine now (ex-student in Hoshizora), and a younger brother (that's preparing to go to Hoshizora one day), and both are so competitive as Kaoru is.
Kaoru's going to be a doctor too, and he should have good grades to be a proper doctor--- but actually he gets normal grades.

☆ Kaoru has lots of earrings because they were "challenges" or special events in his life. (11 in total)
☆ Even if he's a Junior, he usually ends up being lost or in the wrong place. No orientation sense.
☆ Doesn't care about eating. He eats just because his body needs it, and he doesn't care about what he eats. This means he can spend a whole day without eating. Usually being forced to eat. Despite this, he likes wasting his time drinking different drinks from the vending machine. His favorite is the orange juice.
☆ He's very athletic, so when he has to go out of the school he jumps from the window and lands in the next floor or vending machines.
